Composizione 4 – “Fissità” – 95×95 cm
The piano theme connected to some fixed arpeggios develops its melody against a moving background. It depicts a stormy sea that makes the small fisherman’s boats sway as they are caught off guard waiting for the weather to calm. Music and painting dialog and confront each other on two opposite themes: the movement of colors on the canvas and the fixity of the arpeggios in the melody.
